Weatherford retreat
Weatherford is a charming small Texas town full of antique stores, Bed and Breakfasts, and southern hospitality. Tucked away in beautiful Parker County, Texas, Weatherford is known for delicious peaches, expansive views, and an historic downtown courthouse. If you love the outdoors, hiking and bike trails are excellent both in Weatherford and within a short driving distance. You could even kayak down the Brazos River.
If the big city is more your fare, Fort Worth offers shopping, museums, shows, and tons of culture. You can even catch a cattle drive in the Stockyards. Downtown Fort Worth is a favorite hot spot in the evenings and offers fun for young and old. We will be glad to help you plan fun activities to make the most of your weekend.
Take time out from your retreat to have lunch at Clark Gardens which was selected as the Official Best Public Garden in Texas for 2014. The “Official Best Of” created the following short video preview about Clark Gardens.
